Kingdom Impact in Namibia: A Mid-Year Reflection

“And on that day you will say, ‘Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; make them remember that His name is exalted.’ Praise the LORD in song, for He has done glorious things; let this be known throughout the earth.” — Isaiah 12:4-5

As we reach the halfway point of the year, we want to praise the Lord and celebrate the amazing work He’s doing through Child Sponsors, donors, and partners like you. Their generosity, prayers, and unwavering support are transforming lives in incredible ways!

In Namibia, support has enabled our staff to participate in the “Hope for Kids” training, equipping them to teach children how to know Jesus and share their faith. Because of our faithful partners, these young lives are being filled with new hope and inspiration!

Hunger is a serious issue in Namibia, affecting nearly two-thirds of the population. Thanks to your generosity, Christ’s Hope has planted three community gardens, providing food and teaching children, young people, and families how to grow their own. These gardens are also a source of employment for ten families, giving them the skills to secure their future. The gardens are flourishing—onions, tomatoes, and peppers have been harvested for six months, and new seeds are already planted for the next season.

In June, the children and staff in Keetmanshoop were blessed by a visit from our Partner Church, Mount of Olives. Long-time supporters of our ministry, they donated laptops, a printer, a projector, and an air conditioning unit for our new computer lab. These resources will empower our children to learn essential computer skills in the upcoming term.

We are deeply grateful for the generosity shown both near and far. Local organizations like Namib Mills, which donated 132 pounds of pasta and 110 pounds of maize meal, and Bank Windhoek Okahandja, which generously provided non-perishable food items, sanitary pads, toiletries, and clothes for the children, along with a resident who donated funds, have all made a significant impact.

To top it all off, we had a special celebration at The Rock Ministry CarePoint—a birthday bash for all the children born in May, June, and July. It was a time filled with laughter, fun, and wonderful memories!

As we move forward through the year, we remain steadfast in our mission and deeply grateful for your prayers, donations, and heart for this ministry. With support from supporters like you, we move ahead with confidence, trusting God to bless and guide us in the months to come.
