Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Ministry CarePoint?

A CarePoint is a locally led center where CareGivers (our staff) provide holistic, Christ-centered care to children—spiritual, physical, intellectual, relational, and emotional. While families may occasionally come for lessons or check-ins, the CarePoint primarily serves as the place where CareGivers and children interact and grow together.

Most children are $48/month; children in the DRC are $65/month due to higher local costs.

We encourage a long-term relationship. Most children remain in the program until they graduate (typically around age 18).

If you sponsor a child, you can use the Sponsor Portal to send and receive letters, view past correspondence, and get writing tips. We’ll notify you when a new letter arrives.

Log in to the Sponsor Portal (Current Sponsors) to update payment methods, change amounts, or manage multiple sponsorships.

We’ll notify you and help you continue sponsorship—ideally with a child from the same community—so your impact remains local and relational. Changes will also appear in your Sponsor Portal.

No. We welcome all children and share Christ’s love through word and deed without coercion.
