A Bit About Eddy!
Eddy, a 15-year-old boy from Kisumu, Kenya, lives with his mother because his father passed away after a long illness. His mother is the sole provider and works on other people’s farms. Sadly, Eddy’s mother is continually sick, so she isn’t able to work consistently. This often leaves them without money for food and other basic needs.
Eddy helps out at home by looking after the animals and fetching wood. Eddy has been waiting for a sponsor for quite some time now. While waiting, he spends a lot of time in his Bible and loves the story of Moses and Noah because both men obeyed God.
Eddy enjoys many things like; playing football, spending time with his friend Victor, studying his Bible, and eating rice with chicken. He aspires to become a soldier to protect his country or an engineer.
By sponsoring a child like Eddy, you can continue encouraging him in the Gospel and caring for him like Jesus!

Eddy lives in Kisumu, Kenya which is the third largest city in Kenya. The temperature is anywhere from the low 60s to high 80s and they experience both a dry and a wet season. The homes in Kisumu, Kenya are usually made of mud and corrugated metal sheets and the terrain is typically very rocky and dry.
