VACANCY
Namibia Country Team Leader (CTL)

Christ’s Hope International (CHI) is a Christian organisation that cares for orphans and vulnerable children infected with and/or affected by HIV and AIDS. We support over 1400 children in 7 countries in Africa, through a community and family-based model. Children are best when in families and that’s where we keep them. However, families often lack adequate support to provide for the children in their care and that’s where we come in. Through our unique approach and in combination with key players in the community, we screen and select the neediest of families and through our program, their children benefit from a holistic care-model that provides schooling, health care, tutoring, life-skills and emotional and social support. Children get the opportunity to become CYCLEBREAKERS and transform their families which extends to the entire community.

From a humble beginning in a little town in Namibia in 2003, to preserving families across sub-Saharan Africa, Christ’s Hope is breaking the cycle of AIDS, poverty and brokenness through programs that provide holistic, Christ-centred care.

Christ’s Hope International started its activities in Okahandja, Namibia in 2008 and currently cares for over 340 children in 4 different locations. Our work is concentrated in and around Oshikuku, Okahandja, Rehoboth and Keetmans. A team of roughly 53 staff members works relentlessly day in and day out to provide the best possible care to our children.

We invite strong leaders that are uncompromisingly Biblical and unashamedly Christian and who have a passion for God and His children to apply for this position.  Acquired skills in management and leadership are essential with experience in senior leadership positions. Strong communications skills, people skills and spiritual maturity are critical to this position.

Christ’s Hope International is uncompromisingly Biblical and unashamedly Christian. We bring the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to children and families infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS through care-giving and discipling, presenting the perfect in Christ Jesus.
