Information About Our Child Sponsorship Rate Change
While our commitment to our children and you remains the same, factors such as inflation and economic uncertainties in Africa have forced us to reevaluate our monthly sponsorship amount. After much prayer and thoughtful discussions, we are changing our monthly sponsorship amount to $48 per month, effective March 1.
Your sponsorship will automatically increase to $48 per month in March if you pay by credit card or ACH. However, we want to assure you that you can choose whether to accept this increase or maintain your current contribution.
We are grateful for those who do not opt out of this rate change, and we will automatically adjust your donation amount to $48 per month. If you pay by check, please update future payments accordingly.

Why are you changing your child sponsorship rate and what will the additional funds go towards?
We have always strived to be good stewards of the resources you entrust us to. Prayerfully, we use the donations we receive to support the healthy development of the children we serve in all aspects – spiritually, physically, academically, emotionally, and socially. However, because of inflation and economic uncertainties in Africa, we are finding our dollars are stretched as far as they can go. The additional funds will cover the increased cost of providing basic care, meals, education, tutoring, counseling, and, most importantly, biblical teaching and discipleship to the children in our program.
This will be the first rate change in Christ’s Hope USA’s history, and this decision was not taken lightly. Before deciding on a rate change, we researched to understand the impact this could have on our ministry. $48 is an amount that allows us to continue fulfilling our promise to care for orphans and vulnerable children, while balancing the financial ask to our supporters.
If I am unable to increase my donation, does this impact my sponsored child?
Every sponsor who opts out of the rate change will reduce the money available to our Ministry CarePoint programs. We understand that circumstances may prevent you from accepting the child sponsorship rate of $48, which is why we are offering you a choice. However, inflation and economic instability have increased what it takes for us to maintain our commitment to providing effective child development programs. If you would like to remain at our previous child sponsorship rate, we will honor that and continue to praise the Lord for you.
