How We Serve

Discipling Children Strengthening Families

Empowering Communities

Christ’s Hope is dedicated to discipling and caring for orphaned and vulnerable children in Africa.

Through our Ministry CarePoints, we provide transformative care that focuses on a child’s spiritual, physical, educational, emotional, and social needs — allowing the child to live at home with a parent or relative rather than in an orphanage.
We call this family-based care.

What is a Ministry CarePoint?

A Ministry CarePoint is a locally led center established inside an extremely vulnerable community.

Children come to the CarePoint throughout the week for discipleship, meals, tutoring, mentoring, and relational support. Then they return home each day to the care of their families.

CarePoints are not residential facilities. They are hubs of holistic care rooted in the local Christian community.

How We Serve
Each Child

Our Christ-centered model provides transformative care for every child—spiritually, physically, emotionally, relationally, and intellectually—while offering families encouragement and tools that strengthen the home and ripple into the community.

Discipleship in Christ

Daily spiritual mentoring rooted in God’s Word.

Family-Based Care

Support for families to build safe, loving homes.

Education & Life Skills

School support and practical skills for lifelong independence.

Nutrition & Health

Nutritious meals and medical care for healthy growth.

Why Family-Based Care?

Family-based care means children remain in the care of their own families—often a single mother, grandmother, or aunt—while receiving consistent support from trained CareGivers at a nearby CarePoint. Instead of removing children from their homes to place them in an institution, we come alongside families with practical help and Christ-centered discipleship so children can be nurtured in a setting filled with love, identity, language, and culture.

Why This Matters:

We don’t replace families—we strengthen them.

Stronger attachment & identity

Children build healthy relationships with their families and community.

Stability close to home

Kids stay connected to church, school, and friends.

Long-term flourishing

Families gain tools and encouragement that ripple out into the wider community.

Dignity & discipleship

Hope in Christ fuels spiritual growth and practical resilience.
